Firstly, we would like to thank all of you who completed our Parent Forum feedback survey.

We are going to make some changes with regard to the Parent Forum and we are looking for two parents to join our Advisory Board. We are looking for someone who lives within our reach area and has children under the age of 5. You will be invited to attend the group and provide valuable advice with regards to our current services and to share your views on how we can improve. If you are interested in this role then please contact Juliea Morris.

Our Centre needs you.... come along to our Parent Forum!

The Parent Forum aims to be a voice to inform service providers of the needs of children and their families.

This is an informal opportunity for you to tell us what you think of our services, what you would like to see in the future, and what changes you think we could make to ensure our centre is the best it can be.

It will facilitate two-way communication between parents, carers and services used by children, young people and their families. The forum works to provide feedback on services, offer constructive challenges to current services and input decision making and planning for future service provision.

The Parent Forum believes that by working co-operatively with the local children's centre, parents can contribute to improvements in the services delivered.

We aim to hold a Parent Forum every term.

You are invited to join us and suggest an item for discussion on the agenda.

Please e-mail us if you are interested in contributing to our next Parent Forum.
